Monster Adoption Center is a rules-lite TTRPG designed to create a light-hearted and wholesome session around making connections.
Open your heart to all the lovely monsters that will be brought to your center. Take them in, learn their needs, and when time comes to say goodbye, send them off to a loving new forever home.
The rules for Monster Adoption Center are beginner friendly, and the game on average runs 1-1,5 hours, solely depending on when you want to stop.
Monster Adoption Center doesn't have a specific world or period in time. It is all up to your imagination. Therefore it is perfect to put in a different TTRPG. Use this game to create an adoption center together with your players, create the inhabitants and see which personalities and monsters will come, go, or stick around.
What you need:
- Character Sheet (or a piece of paper)
- At least one 6-sided die.
- A way to keep track of the amount of tokens. (We suggest heart candy)
What you get:
- A full-color PDF with hyperlinked table of contents, and art pieces.
- A printer friendly, plain text document.
- A plain text document, with a couple of suggested playlists.

If it is not for commercial use feel free to use it in any video game really. A credit would be appreciated but as long it is non-commercial, use it to your hearts content.

Monster Adoption Center has you or your group working together to build an adoption center, and then find your bundles of joy their forever homes. After figuring out your center (where it is, what it looks like, the general feel of it), you move onto character creation. M.A.C. has no limits on what you can play, or who you can be: even three slimes in a trench coat fit in here!
I really love that this game is designed for solo or small group play. I thought character stats were really clever, the page layout charming, and the light-hearted feel of the game to be reflected throughout the book itself. I'm looking forward to playing this at one of my tables - we're going to have our characters make a center as a team building exercise!
